We are only focused on four core luxury brands so we are able to expertly stock our trucks with genuine Factory Certified replacement parts allowing us to regularly have the stock with us. Our technicians are factory-trained with product knowledge to help answer any questions you may have. Our customer care team is always ready to assist you. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Saturday appointments are scheduled based upon availability.

Bob Arkowitz
Bob joined the company as a business partner in 1982. Bob has over 30 years of experience with the product lines serviced by Appliance Repair Service. Bob’s leadership and technical knowledge is unparalleled. He has the leading role training new technicians and keeping all technicians up-to-date with new enhancements, updates and product offerings. Bob always takes time to answer questions and ensure understanding from both our customers and the entire Appliance Repair Service team. Bob is always available and willing to help out in any way he can. In his spare time, Bob enjoys being part of model railroad club and spending time with his family.

Matt Arkowitz
Matt started working at Appliance Repair Service during summers in high school. After graduating high school, Matt earned a degree in carpentry from the Williamson Trade School. Matt decided to take advantage of his mechanical aptitude and follow in his father’s footsteps in the high-end appliance service industry. Matt’s previous experience at Appliance Repair Service enabled him to adapt quickly, and he has taken the role of Factory Certified Service technician to heart. Matt understands our customers and their expectations and always strives to improve his performance. In Matt’s spare time, he’s a member of an adult ice hockey club team and spends time with family and friends.


Steve Beecher
Steve started out at Appliance Repair Service working part time during the summers while in college. He graduated from Holy Family University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Before assuming a full time position with our company, Steve worked in managerial roles in the retail industry. His managerial experience, coupled with his innate interpersonal skills, make Steve a true team player.  Steve is always willing to go the extra mile with our customers, and his attention to detail is second to none. Steve is an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan. His favorite pastime in his time off is watching his teams play with his wife, daughter, family and friends.


Chris McGuire
Chris joined Appliance Repair Service after returning to the Philadelphia area from California. While in California, Chris studied engineering for over two years. Chris brings over six years of customer service and managerial experience to the Appliance Repair Service team. As a result, Chris has been a quick study as a Factory Certified Service technician. In addition to his customer focus, Chris is a natural at understanding the intricacies and mechanics of high-end appliances. In his spare time, Chris enjoys cooking, watching and attending sporting events, and going to the shore.

Michael Venafra
Mike started working with Appliance Repair Service in 2007 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science from DeSales University. Mike played basketball in both college and during high school at Lower Merion, where his leadership ability was evident both on and off the court. Mike took that perseverance and dedication to Appliance Repair Service, where he excels in product knowledge and exceeds customer expectations every day. On Mike’s time away from the company, he most enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and keeping up to date on the latest local sports.
